Timothy Dobin

Dr. Dobin is a gastroenterologist with certifications in internal medicine and is trained in ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) procedures. As a Midwest transplant, he received the Presidential Honors Scholarship and competed in track and field at Baylor University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology before taking on a two-year research position at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Dobin then went on to complete his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University. Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Dobin then completed his internal medicine residency at Medical City Fort Worth. He received recognition as Intern of the Year, served as chief resident, and became board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2019. He then completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Medical City Fort Worth in 2022.
Dr. Dobin has extensive exposure to complex general gastroenterology and hepatology cases. He trained with renowned physicians at Baylor University Medical Center and participated in the management of advanced liver disease and liver transplant. He is well-versed in enteral access management and complex stricture management involving the esophagus and biliary tree.
Dr. Dobin co-authored several publications during his time at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the field of oncology. Areas of interest included novel imaging modalities, therapy delivery, and development of novel therapeutics. During residency and fellowship, his research focused on quality improvement.
Dr. Dobin specializes in all aspects of gastroenterology and digestive diseases such as colon cancer screening, biliary disease, cirrhosis management, and acid reflux disease. He performs a large volume of gastroenterology procedures, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, and ERCP.
Dr. Dobin sees patients at Gastroenterology of the Rockies Lakewood and Northglenn locations and is on the medical staff at Boulder Community Health, Good Samaritan Hosptial, Lutheran Medical Center, and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
