Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Sarah was a medical scribe at a gastroenterology clinic, which ignited her interest in the field.
In her first three years as physician assistant, she worked in the specialties of emergency medicine and urgent care. Her experience evaluating patients with emergent GI conditions furthered her interest in gastroenterology which led her into this specialty.
Sarah is dedicated to providing her patients with exceptional medical care and strives to create an environment where they feel valued and understood. She takes an evidence-based approach to helping patients decrease symptoms caused by common gastrointestinal disorders.
Sarah is passionate about improving the quality of life for those suffering with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) such as Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, but also has a special interest in all aspects of liver disease.
Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and their rescue pup named Buddy. She loves all outdoor pursuits, especially hiking, bike riding and fishing.
