Dr. Zucker is a board-certified gastroenterologist and board-certified in internal medicine. She joined Gastroenterology of the Rockies in 2023 and primarily sees patients in our Boulder and Northglenn GI clinics. Her digestive health focus includes colon cancer screening, motility, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver conditions, and esophageal reflux or GERD.
Dr. Zucker performs a large volume of gastroenterology procedures, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, video capsule endoscopy, pH testing/manometry, and hemorrhoid banding.
She attended Grinnell College in Iowa where she majored in biological chemistry, she was also a member of the basketball and track & field teams. After college, she attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Oregon.
After medical school, Dr. Zucker attended the University of Arizona- Phoenix for her internal medicine residency where she was voted both Intern of the Year and Resident of the Year upon graduation. She then continued her training at the University of Arizona for her gastroenterology fellowship. and was named chief fellow in her final year. Dr. Zucker also won the American College of Gastroenterology GastroTitan Endoscopy Challenge for third year fellows.
Dr. Zucker has had extensive exposure to complex general gastroenterology and hepatology cases. She’s worked with well-known mentors at a high-volume transplant center and managed both pre and post-liver transplant patients. She trained at the largest hospital in Arizona where she learned about a wide range of patient pathology during her residency and fellowship.
Dr. Zucker has served as an author and co-author on several peer-reviewed publications, and she has had the honor of presenting her research at numerous national gastroenterology and hepatology conferences. Her main research interest is liver transplant outcomes and increasing the quality of life for her patients.
Dr. Zucker is on the medical staff at Boulder Community Health — and Intermountain Health Good Samaritan Hospital, Lutheran Medical Center, and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
