Becker’s Recognizes Gastroenterology of the Rockies As One of the Top 18 ASC Milestones In 2021

Becker’s Healthcare recognized Gastro of the Rockies as having one of the 18 most significant milestones in 2021 with the implementation of the artificial intelligence program GI Genius.

Gastroenterology of the Rockies is the first practice in Colorado to use the new GI Genius™ artificial intelligence endoscopy technology. This new technology assists providers by automatically detecting colorectal polyps during an endoscopy.

GI Genius™ harnesses deep learning algorithms and real-time data to detect colorectal polyps through enhanced visualization. This technology has a 99.7% sensitivity rate and less than 1% false activations. It also performs real-time analysis 82% faster than an endoscopist.

This service is provided to Gastroenterology of the Rockies patients at no additional cost.
